The

escape or an activity filled exploration of the area.
From here, you can drive forty minutes up the winding
Mountain Road with its stunning vistas, to the plateau
town of Dorrigo. This town boasts cafes, art galleries
and its own Old Gazette Theatre with regular performances.
En route you pass Dorrigo National Park, with its world-heritage
rainforest, skywalk and well-maintained walking tracks.
For a change of scene, the surf and sand of the coast
are only thirty minutes away. Once there, the options are
endless – there is everything
from great surf spots and patrolled family beaches near
Urunga to isolated stretches for walking near Mylestom
and cafes overlooking the swells at Sawtell.

to home, a short walk or bicycle ride away is the Never Never
River, where you can swim and picnic at the many swimming
holes.
